Providing Opportunities for Progression
New Information Advice and Guidance Website
Wednesday, 10th June 2009
We are pleased to announce a new resource for learners and practitioners:
Learning Opportunities in the South East - this is an interactive website providing personalised IAG (Informtion Advice and Guidance). It draws together a range of generic and subject specific material of the Lifelong Learning Networks in the South East and other agencies under one umbrella network
Some of the things the website delivers are: careers advice and financial advice, an 'ask a question' facility, a foundation degrees database and a personal planning pack which pulls together all the material viewed in a single visit into a personalised pdf for downloading.
The website's most unique feature is a special facility: South East Routes, which enables learners to search progression routes covered by LLN Progression Aggreements across the entire South East. Learners are able to print their own certificate showing a progression entitlement which they can use when applying through UCAS or directly to an institution.
