Raising the Profile of Progression Opportunties in Conservation and Ecology

Note: Report available

In a collaborative project between Hadlow College and the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) at the University of Kent, potential students from across the county will have the opportunity to explore the wide range of courses open to them by visiting a stand at this year's Kent County Show on 11th, 12th and 13th July 2008.

For the first time ever, there will be an Ecovillage at this year's county show, celebrating all aspects of Kent's burgeoning green business sector, sustainable living and, of course, learning and skills. "This is a fantastic opportunity highlighting the courses that are available at these two institutions," commented Jude Sach, Lifelong Learning Network Co-ordinator for the University of Kent, "I am delighted to be working with DICE and Hadlow to showcase the programmes available to learners right here in Kent."

Anyone interested in visiting the stand is invited to contact Kathy Mitchell, LLN Sector Co-ordinator: kathy.mitchell@hadlow.ac.uk.

Further information about DICE is available from their website, www.kent.ac.uk/anthropology/dice
and Hadlow's website is available at www.hadlow.ac.uk.
